Meet Our Team

 

Nate Stocker

Director of Clinical Services | APRN, MSN, FNP-C

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Nate received both his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from the University of South Carolina. He is a certified Nurse Practitioner and is accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

After spending several years in the ICU and ER, he found his passion in acute care and now works for both Main Street Physicians specializing in concierge medicine and Revive Wellness Studio where he performs a multitude of services including Botox injections and facial fillers.

In his spare time, Nate enjoys taking his twin boys to Riverbanks Zoo and sporting events (Go Gamecocks!).

Sarah Carter

Director of Clinical Services | RN, BSN, CCRN

Sarah’s a native of London, England but spent most of her childhood in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina and has called Columbia home since.

Sarah began her nursing career in the ICU and is certified in Critical Care Nursing. During her time in the ICU, she quickly expanded into a management role as well as an educational role training new ICU clinical team members in critical care nursing.

She later found her passion in acute and preventative care, enjoying the experience of helping client’s look and feel their absolute best.

Sarah enjoys spending time on Lake Murray and cheering on the Gamecocks!

 

Porche Anderson

Director of First Impressions

Porche is a native of Columbia and knows the ins and outs of true southern hospitality. With a degree in public health along with an extensive background in the hospitality industry, she loves helping clients feel welcomed and educated about our list of services.


Porsche spends her free time with her two boys, Chase and Marley, traveling, shopping, and staying up to date on style and fashion.

Ashley Friend

Licensed Physical Therapist | PT, DPT

Ashley received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She began her career as a travel physical therapist, allowing her to pursue her love of traveling while gaining work experience treating diverse patient groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

In 2014, she began her journey in Myofascial Release and quickly saw the incredible benefits it brought to her patients. Today, she has over 200 additional hours of Myofascial Release therapy education that along with her extensive background in physical therapy, Ashley is able to provide a well-rounded approach to recovery and wellness.

Ashley enjoys staying active and participating in a variety of activities including hiking, Zumba, aerial yoga, Latin dancing, and even ballroom dancing.

Barry Duncan

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant | PTA

Advanced Level Myofascial Release Practitioner

Barry received his PTA license from Trident Technical College, his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University, and is a certified Advanced Level Myofascial Release practitioner specializing in treating chronic pain, geriatric patients, and posture analysis.

He has an extensive background in Sports Medicine and ortho-related conditions, along with his specialized knowledge in treating senior adult patients. Barry’s goal for all of his patients is to help eliminate pain, restore or improve balance, and using Myofascial Release therapy to lead his patients to wellness.

Barry is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve and currently commands the 485th CBRN Battalion Newark, DE. He resides in Lexington with his wife and two children. Fun fact: Barry’s wife and daughter complete nationally in clogging and spent many years with The Capital City Cloggers. Barry himself even took clogged lessons for several years in exchange of his wife approving of him buying a new pick-up truck!

Mary Stewart

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant | PTA

Mary received her Bachelor in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and her license as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Midlands Technical College. She is an ISFTA Certified Strength Training and Rehabilitation Fitness Instructor and has received a Tai Chi certification for Arthritis fall prevention.

With a long history in the field of health and wellness, she’s worked in a variety of settings including acute care, subacute care, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes.  Mary is highly trained and experienced in chronic illnesses, injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, chronic pain, and motor vehicle accidents.

Mary started her Myofascial Release journey several years ago while trying to find solutions to her own medical issues and increasing aches and pains. After feeling the benefits of Myofascial Release therapy, she now incorporates Myofascial Release into her patient’s therapy programs to help eliminate chronic pain, chronic migraines, orthopedic issues, postural dysfunction, and much more.
